Basket making is a way to reawaken our hands, rekindle our creativity, and reconnect with the world around us. Through this practice, I explore the possibilities of crafting with foraged fibres — gifts freely given by the earth.

My mission is to counter the fast-paced, extractive mindset of capitalism by inspiring others to make, to notice, and to rediscover the deep creativity rooted in our ancestry. I focus on working with abundant, often overlooked weed species — plants I love for their resilience and generosity.

This is a sustainable craft, shaped by seasons, stories, and slow time. I want to shift perspectives, inviting people to see the beauty and value in the plants growing all around them.

I believe that when we create a deeper connection with the natural world, it transforms how we treat each other and the legacy we leave behind.

Upcoming events.

Alongside my basket making, I host community weaving circles and share my work at local markets.

These are gentle, open spaces for connection with each other, with fibre, and with the land. Suitable for all ages

I’m also beginning to offer hands-on weaving workshops and foraging walks, where we learn to gather and craft with respect and curiosity.

These gatherings are a chance to slow down, learn traditional skills, and reawaken our relationship with the natural world. Upcoming dates and details will be shared here — I’d love for you to join.
